What is a Laverda Bialbero?

Just looking through the other lots, the Gianfrancco Morbidelli collection is listed along with all the sundry items he had gathered, three smaller Laverda engines in there too.
 
This one was built by Morbidelli himself.
There are others, notably a Laverda built prototype, built by Massimo I seem to remember.
Seen in Piero's shed in Isola some years back.

The incomplete and damaged (worn out) 1962/3 Honda CR72 and CR77 engines I posted a link to on another thread went for around ?17000 each and a complete but rough CR72 racer went for ?90000.
Probably not of interest to most of you lads but that is serious money.
 
Bloody hell.
Very much the supermarket syndrome.
A product doesn't interest anybody but stick at nose height on the shelf in the supermarket and suddenly, everybody wants one.

A real shame for motorcyclists.
