What to do with it .

So its come down from 6 to 1.
Laverda sfc1000. 1989. Italian racing red... ish.
This reminds me of my first laverda.
Rga sprint with full fairing.
Big valve head.
To be honest I still think that was a better looking bike than the sfc.
So I have a couple of ideas.
I have an rgs tank that I'm going to get repaired.
Racing central filler cap.
Junk the filler pipe.
That's the tank sorted.
Fairing... what to do with it?
Looks to much like a corsa... no disrespect to those owners.
And the arse end looks like it was designed in China.
Not the country of passion
Oh and the colour.
Yes gold frame, brilliant.
But red.... realy... I'm not a tangerine fan but that had more imagination.
The black works .
So.....I'm looking for inspiration from my mentors.
Oh... I could put a formula mirage bodywork on it
Looking forward to practical, crazy, stupid , advice .

Gold frame begs for black bodywork. Maybe a naked 120 ...... not many of those. Probably get good money for the bodywork and then make the bike very minimalist.

Harris alloy tank, special side-panels, SFC-style seat, shortend front mudguad, 3-1 exhaust; rest was a standard 1988 1000 SFC classic. Did perform very well and looked nicely...

I preferred the black to the red of the two SFC1000s I owned, but as you mentioned it already looks too much like Corsa, why would you paint it black unless you completely changed the look?
