Wheels WM3 & VM3

Dose any body know anything about front wheel marked VM3.

I looks like a WM3 some slight differences only found with vernier caliper, from my 120 Jota front wheel which I compared it to. at first glance you would not know the difference.

As far as I can find the "WM" code on the Borrani site is listed as "Denomination International" with the 3 referring to rim width but nothing anywhere on the VM3

IIrc from my sparse italian lessons, the letter "W" has no widespread use in the italian language.  A quick glance over the opening pages of "Storia di una Passione" shows not a single "W" in sight!  Maybe they just used the next best thing.  Or there wasn't even a "W" stamp available when the markings were created in the casting moulds.

Can't use the cast Laverda rims as reference anyway.  As Keith found out some time ago, the actual tyre fitting diameter is slightly larger than need be, making fitting and removal a pita.  Use the stated dimensions as a guideline and leave it at that...
