WILLERSEY Moto Laverda 75th Anniversary .

I'm in a nice pub about 10 miles away, ridden over from Kent. Bad news? Quadlock let go of my phone at 80mph on a dual carriageway. Good news? Walked back 100 yards or so on grass central reservation in full kit and hot sun, found it..undamaged in its case. FFS..had some celebratory pints on arrival..dinner coming up.😁

M25, M40, A40, A44, A46...only put the bleeding phone on at the end to find the back lane pub, DOH!

A first world problem😉 Wow, got so many thumbs up and smiles from drivers yesterday..and today from pub guys..I am the only bike here. Got to take diversion to meeting as there was a fatal crash nearby during the early hours..go carefully pepes.

250 mile round trip, well worth the effort, the noise of all those triples just does something for me. Some lovely sounding 750's too, Christ even the Zanes sounded nice. Met lots of great people who I wouldn't know from Adam, had a lovely little chat to Richard Slater and a lovely big chat to Scrumpy who was pointing out the specials, Motodd, Harris, Spondon etc. Nice pub meet atmosphere, enjoyed it a lot.
It gave me inspiration.

Andy, just for interest after our brief conversation about your Baines Laverda, I dug out the program from Sept. 2000. It was certainly the ‘Baines era’. Mike Edward’s was the Guzzi rider I recall methodically overhauling the whole field.
Cheers
David

It's a video of lots of beautiful bikes slowly arriving, I couldn't pick a favourite. Maybe the Cropreedys{sp] or that special with the razor-sharp fuel tank I forget the owner's name but it's a dangerous-looking gadget.
