Witt/DMC terminals

  Anyone know where in Uk I can get the wiring terminals that connect the main plug to a DMC box - they're 2.8mm I believe but have a different slot to normal female terminals. - Thanks - phil

Phil,

They are actually the same as those used in the rectangular DIN/ISO connectors on car radio units.  Any well-sorted car accessory shop should have them.

RS Components would be my first stop in the UK, normally, if you can identify the connector type (usually moulded into it somewhere, though you might need a magnifying glass).

Failing that, if you have a local Maplins, the staff there are often very knowledgable if you take the connector in / or take a photo of it.

What you're after is a 'Junior timer' terminal - like this item.  The term 'ISO' sometimes appears too

Challenge is to find a small quantity and reasonable P+P.  Look out for the single latch which is needed to retain the terminal in the plug.  eBay shows something (from Germany!)

Just put in "Junior Timer"(thanks Rob) on fleabay - now got 50 of the little swines on their way to me - only need one - but cost for 50 is less than a round trip to my "local" store. - Thanks to all for info! - Regards - Phil
