Write up on my rewire by Rupe's Rewires

Nice write up by Rupe on the work he did to rewire my bike. Worth looking at his catalogue of other previous jobs: a number of Laverdas in there plus an amazing assortment of other great bikes that wold make quite a gathering if they ever got together!

Yep, couple of years before me. I was sixteen and working on Norton Commandos, Suzuki GT 750s, Guzzi 125 Enduro, XN85 Turbo and being taught by Dave Thorpe‘s uncles…much better than school!

We used to go to Frontiers and Sunami ( spelt wrong!) at lunch time or Moto Vechia in Colliers Wood to gawp.

It's Rupe's fault I bought my SFC - I saw an SFC1000 advertised, read Rupe's old roadtest in PB and promptly posted the vendor a deposit cheque...

Interesting comment by Rupert re ignition pickups - After emailing Redax in Australia I learned that the kit’s pickup polarity can flip during installation.
I'd like to know more - new one on me!
