Behind my 3C is buried, an '81 Z1000...ST shafty, it's the one that has the Z1300 frame and bodywork but with the round headlight
It was my brothers, he's had it since '83 it hasn't run for.....30 years ! There was nothing wrong with it other than cosmetics. About 20 years ago he started refurbishing it and sprayed the frame (very well) and bought new tyres, exhaust, master cylinder, caliper seals and a whole new seat then moved house and it went no further, it's been in my garage ever since. I have the logbook, the paint is original, I stole the starter solenoid for my 3C, that can go back on now.
Don't go rushing or asking for pictures yet as it is still buried under junk
A strange bike this one, de-tuned for torque and touring but they never put a fairing on it, it's crying out for one
Just wondered if there is any interest in such a beast as it will have to go this year.
