Zane 650 square headlight

Do you not have a reference number and maker on the unit if you have it?
No doubt used on plenty of bikes and/or cars of the period.

be aware that the UK light is deeper than ROW, something to do with UK regs probably, I much prefer the look of the ROW one which is a bit "slotty", I did once see a 650 in a Sussex (UK) showroom and you could see where the ROW light had been removed and a UK one fitted, by cutting the hole in the fairing deeper with a hacksaw blade, and not even painting the raw edges! or cleaning the saw teeth marks, that was a new and unsold bike, my own one has the fairing moulded to take the UK deeper light, and is an early numbered Kevlar (was it?) type.
