Greetings all.
My 750 Formula S has been hanging around for far too long whilst I did some work on her. Now I've put her back together, the fuel pump isn't running, as there is no voltage at the pump. Yes, I have the side stand modification fitted. Not sure which of the four relays is feeding it either.
I'm fairly handy with a multi meter when it comes to fault finding, but my biggest problem at the moment is the quality of the wiring diagrams in my factory manual are abysmal. Maybe I've been spoilt with Haynes manuals over the years, but many of the numbers are blurred and it lacks detail.
Have any of you good people any ideas if a clear wiring diagram is available anywhere?
Many thanks

Thank you Sir Sidney. I have followed your advice and enrolled on the Zane Group. This is the main wiring schematic and does not cover the fuel injection side of it as such, that's on another page. I'm guessing my manual is actual a re-print and the real problem is that it's been done on a copier. Thanks once again

Thank you very much gentlemen, I've got some good information and a decent diagram. I've never worked on anything with Fuel Injection, so I'm at the bottom of a steep learning curve.

Now armed with some decent information, I think the fault lies in the fuel pump itself, probably through standing. Originally when I started testing, I didn't have any voltage at the connector for the pump. Maybe disturbing the relays and now knowing which relay is which, I am now getting voltage at the connector. Out of interest , touched the terminals in the connector with an external battery and it just made a very light clicking sound. I was hoping for more of a whirring sound. I'll pull the airbox off again and just see if anything is coming out of the delivery pipe. If not then it looks like I'll be replacing the pump.

There is a big debate going on now about the best type of fuel pump to use on the Zane email list. Plus fitting tips, it's apparent a bitch of a job.

Been discussed on here previously - fuel pump doesn't respond well to sitting in old fuel for extended periods of time - rubber hoses captive in the same fuel is a recipe for a ... refurb!

Me too, testing all looks good but the bike didn’t start. Not enough pressure. New hoses was the solution.
Happens only when the stand still for longer time.
