Zane 750s formula wheel colour RAL?

Best is to get the wheels to your painter and ask them to read out the paint-code (most have a tool for that). Else, they should use their color-tables to find a match. Even though RAL should be a standard, you get different tones when you look the numbers up in google...

From my notes, I believe it's 2004, Edwyn (and the Lechler code was 65594. But that doesn't seem to come up any more ...)

My advice is to get onto bike-paint.co.uk (Sarah French) and they'll make sure you get what you need.

took them in but wont know until they are done 2004 looked nearest to my original

Powder coated, I think that although I like painting things, as they can be touched up. These are blasted, primed and clear coated powder, theres no way 2K paint will be as durable, and if they fade they can just be matted off and 2K clear over them. The clear makes a big difference and a lot quicker and easier for me. Plus i got the tyres fitted at same place without any chance of mangling new paint.
Checked RAL 2004 against wheels and looked good, they are now looking Fantastic!! in my opinionView attachment 61066View attachment 61067View attachment 61068View attachment 61069
I am short of 3 small rubber hole bungs, looked on internet but to many to attempt to decide, has anyone got any lead as to where to get some?

i think Laverda orange was around before KTM? cant admit to using KTM orange on a Laverda!! but happy to use the same colour code.
I will probably use RAL2004, maybe try it again when I do Monty paintwork.

There isn't such a thing as Laverda orange.
Several different hues of orange on original bikes.
Avoiding orange is however much better.

had mine power coated and not the best result. I have to keep on top of cleaning them which I don't enjoy. despite being acid dipped 3 times it seems to bleed through what looks like chain oil, given my time again i would have had them painted although I could still have had the same problem, it seems the powder coat goes dull

Powder coat is plastic, it dulls over time. If they are a good Coates they can clearcoat the parts too. Deeper lux and stays glossy longer.

mine were done at a reputable place in Stockton on tees, as far as I can tell they have been primed and colour then clearcoated only time will tell?
If your wheels are being affected by brake metallic dust I have forund Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner an excellent product with little effort needed other than aggitating and letting the stuff work on the dust, then rinse and they look real good I use it on cars and anything thats black from road and brake grime.
