Zane Laverda 750 SP

At the BHR Cadwell Park event at the weekend a Laverda owner came over to have a chat and mentioned he had bought, just around the time the Zane concern went belly up, a SP version of the 750. This shows every day is a school day, as although I was aware of the plans to launch the 750SS model, I couldn't recall a SP version.
Does anyone have any details/photos of the model, which I think was based on the later S Formula model?
And more to the point, does any one still have one as apparently only around 10 were built?

He sold it as soon as he heard the factory was folding as he didn't want to worry about getting it repaired/fixed if (when) it went wrong... so I'm not sure he took any.

Thanks for posting Dude, having seen the above I recall seeing that picture some time in the past, but it’s not how the SP was described to me.

Unfortunately the description was a bit vague as he was trying to remember what it looked like from over 20 years ago. He certainly didn't say anything about twin pipes, which is a fairly memorable feature. He thought the tail/seat unit was narrower than the one on the Baines bike, but that's not a standard seat unit either. What he said he could recall was it said SP on the side of the tail/seat unit.

Unfortunately I was talking to two owners at the same time, so I lost track with who was talking about which bike they have/had owned. We did get into a conversation about the colour options for the 650. Blue was mentioned at one point as the colour of one bike one of them had previously owned, but I think that was in relation to a 650. The owner of the SP couldn't really remember if it was fitted with brushed aluminum or carbon end cans.
