SFC for sale?

Marketplatz links to "Page(s) not found" !
I emailed the seller simply stating the prices were too low. He replied saying his wife has cancer and he needs to sell for the funds. That was all; no asking for deposit or baloney about secure escrow transfer, shipping etc. etc.
So it was most likely a scam. There was a cheap GT 750 bevel advertised this morning as well. Same time of outdoorsy photo, cheap price and close, but different, location. That ad on marketplatz has disappeared as well.
The asking prices of these bikes (SFC and Ducati bevels) vary enormously depending on the country but I imagine the selling prices are more consistent.

Did you ask if you could view the bike/s? I think that response would have resolved the question of 'scam' pretty quickly.

Yes, you are right; asking to view the bikes is always a good idea. But I had no intention of buying them and simply wanted the seller to understand his asking prices were too low. I considered the ads as scam from the get go but if the seller was genuine, the scam could be on the other foot.

If they were genuine I would have borrowed from a bank to buy them both at those prices! Caveat emptor and caveat whatever-the-latin-is-for-'seller' ...
