LAVERDA 750 SFC barnfind

What's being sprayed there? Into exhaust ports?!
"The SFC is getting dry ice blasted. This process will remove dirt, rust and oxidation without damaging the original finishes."

I used this technic to clean printing machines. This works very well. You just have to be careful with (soft-)rubber parts.
You need the dry ice blasting device and a very high-volume compressor. The dry ice itself is not that expensive. You just can't store it for long, so it's best to do several jobs in a row.
Since the dirt spreads around, I wouldn't do it directly in the workshop.

My fear would be more that they just do outside cleaning and then give it a start and sell it as restored. I would rather have it completely dismanteled and rebuild than just cleaned.

That, you need to do with any bike selling for lots of money, or make sure that it's well documented.

It is in the hands of a renowned Guzzi restoration gentleman. He does very nice work and would not do that ........ however I don't know where he will go with this restoration. He is a busy man.

Interesting. It does not have PHB carbs.

Maybe Bob Angone can go visit the Guzzi Doctor and find out more.

If someone takes the time to draw it, it can be printed, but someone needs to take the time to sit and draw it in cad, and they would need a buggered one to slice open to draw I imagine

How different is a PHF pumper body from a PHB non-pumper? With what I've seen of laser welding surely it'd be possible to cut out the pumper section of the slide and weld in a new plain alu section. If someone really wants their SFC to be absolutely correct it must be worth the money and effort?
