Nothing to do with anything really , but ...........

Whenever I log on , I might take a quick look at the Forum page and see who`s online .......... obviously the usual Forum members , which may range from two or three to maybe twenty or thirty ....... and the guests , which on a good day may range from a couple of hundred to four or five hundred , which seems a fair old number to me ........

However , when I logged on just now , I saw the guest count stood at 2,068 !! ....... Yes , two thousand and bloody sixty eight ........ .............

Can any one vouch for the accuracy of these figures ....... or is this sudden influx down to World Cup refugees , looking for a change of scene ?


Just had another look , and it`s now down to 129 guests in the space of just a minute or so ........ those one thousand nine hundred and thirty nine didn`t hang around very long ......... maybe they saw that I had just logged on .............. ................

I'm a member of another unrelated forum. They had to change security measures for this reason. Might be wrong but I think they are being charge per access.

Still not sure about the validity of these figures ....... they seem to up and down at the drop of a hat ........... It`ll be back to 174 in a minute ........
