After some advice if anyone can help.
I've a 1981 Mirage ts and need to replace the rear shocks. The current ones are old hagon and not coping.
I tried some yss but the chain guard interferes with them so I need slim ones.
I've seen a set of Marzacchi for a Jota, (the old red ones) ,are they likely to fit ,width wise ,are they any good or can anyone point me in the direction of a God quality set that will fit or a supplier.
Thanks
Neil

The Marzocchis would fit.
Sadly, they’re only fit to be used as doorstops.
There are plenty to choose from:
Wilbers come highly recommended.
I have Maxtons on mine.

I've got Ikon on my Mirage, they work well and are rebuildable. They used to be Koni until they were bought out and the name anagrammed. They are available from various suppliers around the world.

You also can buy new Hagons and I think they make good products, Gijs was using Hagons in his enurance racer. I am happy with the Konis at my RGS, they just work…..

I beg to differ Hamish, what with my old Marzocchis combined with Citreon fork oil I would happily carry a dozen eggs around a farmers field on the back of the Jota!......:giggle:
