Out and About on your Laverda. No bull,Just photos

These are great pictures; you have come across some very nice machinery.(y)(y)
Thanks for sharing, and keep them coming, but the title of this thread is 'Out and about on your Laverda'; it's for you to share pictures or a narrative of your 'out-and-about' Laverda ride.
A more appropriate thread is under the General Discussion Headliner, 'Cars and bikes I have come across in my travels', where you can share pictures of various machines at rallies, meets, or spotted on the street, road, garage, or showroom. HTH :)

I see the two of you are stepping in to play sheriff in the sheriff's place.
I even wonder if a coup isn't brewing against our beloved sheriffs.

Thanks; I feel safer now—there are more and more highwaymen about these days.

But as I explained, I hadn't quite grasped the topic and had announced that I was ending the series at that point.

I wonder if I shouldn't hire a sheriff for those who don't read the messages.

I’ll say a prayer for forgiveness anyway; I am a God-fearing person.

Out and about on the new-to-me Corsa...
Very pleased. Steve (@Stoutgoose) did a great job resurrecting Clems old Corsa that I think was (prior to Clem) Nigel Stock's old bike.
Sounds good and goes well - but I am considering if I should keep the 3-into-1 or go for the Jota pipes I had on my first Corsa...
Thoughts?
It joins Andy Franchi's 750SF and Andy Holbrook's 1200 Mirage in my care now... how long I can keep 3, I am not sure - but I SO regretted selling my own Corsa (B644YJD) that I needed to find another...
Thanks, Steve!

No offence intended, Mastroianni. We're not the police! It's just a simple thing but helps keep everything in the right place - same thing happens if someone posts a 'wanted' in the General thread. As we all love your pics, keep them coming!

How the hey did that happen Peter?! Hidden hole? Lock up the front on moss? Drunk and disorderly?:cool:
None of the above. Went and visited Bruce on his cattle property (bloke organisng a Cico seat unit for his 3cl)
Anyway dirt road in all good with last 10 kays or so a bit rougher with a few gullies etc, but nothing too bad. Had crossed this causeway on way in no drama, shallow water, obviously slippery but nothing that would make you think. On way out I crossed again very slowly and tbh I don't know what happened. Suddenly saw the back trying to come around and catch up to the front, the front then slid a bit but instead of just a nice lay down slide the effin back tyre must have bit and ended up going over the other way. (Not a mark showing in the slippery shit under the water, must have been like waving fairy floss over the causeway)
Very slow off, no real damage except smashed my bar end mirror, small marks on alt cover and silencer but did bang my knee, so hoping it doesn't blow up. And yes Vince couldn't pick the fucker up. Front wheel was turned on wrong angle and also when I lifted it was on edge of concrete and mud and couldn't get enough leverage to straighten front wheel while lifting so had to wait for help. (no phone reception of course)
Not much traffic on these road so had to wait about and hour and eventually a cattle truck came through and bloke helped me lift it.
In Pic in original post I had lifted it and rested it on my helmet to try and limit the amount of fuel pissing out the cap.......
1st pic, Road into Bruce's, you can see Roma Peak over the trees A grey volcanic cone that I find very interesting. 2nd & 3rd pic - one of the fairly steep gullies, had loose rocks at the bottom, which I was very careful on but no issues.
Causeway I crashed on wasn't steep and had concrete bottom, bit embarrassing, I'm now wondering why I posted pic:censored:

How is the alternator cover doing? Mine cracked on a similar crash and even damaged the outer crank bearing... No problem at first, but over time, the crank bearing completely disintegrated and made a very ugly, wining noise... Hope that's not the case here!!

If it's even slightly awkward, lifting a 120kg Dirtbike can be impossible for 1 person. With most bikes, you can do a lot of damage dragging a bike into a better lifting position. eg handlbar as high as possible; probably the biggest advantage BMWs acualy do have over other bikes are those horazntal cyliders proping the bike up a bit. You can fuck yourself up physically even trying to lift a badly positioned bike, and then you're really screwed. There was a bloke in the USA selling a gadget that bolted onto your footpeg and used ropes and bolted-together levers that helped you lift a 200kg fully loaded bike on your own.
