1972 Laverda 750 GT

While the bike looks to be entirely un-molested, it puzzles me as to why Nippon Denso clocks are fitted in place of the correct Smiths instruments! One of the final GTs and the "Smiths" box was empty? Which is unlikely, as the SFC1000 eventually got the leftovers..

Basically, it's worth whatever somebody is willing to spend. They don't command premium prices even when restored and running. Even it it isn't completely restored, putting it back on the road is going to be a pretty lengthy/expensive exercise. Long-term lay-ups are not kind to these bikes.

$1500 seems like a reasonable price given how much it will cost to restore, including the various chrome plating. It will be a nice project for someone, so keep us posted-

For comparison, a restored GTF model for sale here in USA with seller claiming VERY low miles (presumably since restoration) and looking for USD 10K - says he bought it 2023 from the Bello Moto dealer as restored by the Breganze museum.

Bello Moto has crazy high prices even for San Francisco and their Laverdas rarely sell- one took a massive hit on BAT for thousands less. I doubt that GT will get $10K.

I would jump on that in a heartbeat if it wasn't on the other side of the planet, i'll make some enquires with expats.

Happy to hear that but pissed off I missed it, what Kms and how much did you let it go for?
Would love to know it works out.
cheers KEN
