1976 750 SF3 ignition question

It does show that the motor starts and apparently the clutch and first gear are working. A high-speed pass, WOT, in top gear would be much more confidence inspiring.
After TeddyG's experience with his BaT purchased SF2 that looked really good in the BaT sales pitch but has turned out to need major motor work, I think we all have to be cautious of the possibility that, while there may be some diamonds somewhere, there are a lot of "polished turds" as someone else here put it so eloquently!
That said, if the price doesn't escalate rapidly, seems likely to bought and parted out very quickly by one of the mid-west companies that have done so with Laverda twins in recent years - no worries there about history, performance, and paperwork.
Agree on all points. I've never seen a more laughable BAT motorcycle start-up & ride video.

That seller didn't answer any of my questions when I contacted him, nor did he answer any other posted questions about both bikes. His "start up" and idling vids were also pathetic and the Jota was barely moving the tach when throttle was applied. BAT doesn't seem to have any standards for the bikes or sellers.

On the other hand, bikes that are presented well w/ good vids get high bids and I think Laverdas have a much smaller clientele base.
