1980 series one Jota Fork lengths

Can anyone help me with a dimension from a series 1 1980 Jota fork? I have mine in pieces, and the  parts are in two different places.
I would like to know the distance from centre of axle to top of fork stanchion without any load on them. They are 38mm Marzocchi.

I am looking at getting some new forks, as my existing ones  now seem  to be prohibitively expensive to repair, or rather the cost of repair is I think better spent on some new forks.

As Im new to these bikes, I have a sneaking suspicion that there may be two stanchion lengths? to choose from, was this the difference between the 1200's and 1000's ?

thanks in advance

There were 630mm and 660mm tube lengths for the Marzo forked 1000s, I should think 1200 are the same.

Is there anywhere with the dimensions on old drawings of the forks ?

Not that I know of.
I have a table with all the tube lengths, given me by Clem.

I could scan it if asked politely. Or maybe Clem has it to hand?

Hi Paul, that would be very nice if you could scan and send it. I would give you my next born child, or one of the preceding 5

thanks in advance

Will do.
No thanks for the baby, I have 3 kids and 4 grandchildren. 3 daughters in law.

Quite enough.

I just have sex for pleasure nowadays.

I want to be like you when I grow up !

Ok, so if I have 630mm stanchions, is there an overall length for built fork leg?
I am looking at a set of forks like the ones Julian bought for his race bike, and the company has asked me for that dimension from centre of Axle to top of stanchion. It seems I have snookered myself by having my forks apart and in two different places, eg one half in Mallorca and one half not in Mallorca.

... I'll measure out tomorrow on my 1200!
