I think it's time to part with the "famed" Colorado Laverda, the 1984 RGS I rescued from an odd situation in Colorado some 7 years ago. I finally got around to recommissioning it this past year. You can learn more here: https://laverdaforum.com/threads/1984-rgs-back-on-the-road.105276/
It runs beautifully. Fires on the button and settles into an idle almost immediately. Honestly, it runs better than my 1983, but the '83 is really special to me and isn't going anywhere. I expected to keep the '84, but I've decided I have too many bikes, and don't need two Laverda RGS', so I'm letting it go. Lots of work done, follow the link above to learn more, and please feel free to ask questions. I haven't put but a few miles on it, but it's really quite sweet and presents very well. It's not perfect, but it's very clean. I keep meaning to polish the engine side cases but haven't gotten to them - yet - and while I thought I had the rear hydraulics sorted the rear brake seems to have decided to go duff. I'll get that rectified prior to any sale. I'd like to get $8,500 US for it, I'm sure the assembled will weigh in with opinions ...
