350 Alpino piston rings

Wolfgang may be able to help, I know he managed to help someone who had a problem with his 350 head. It's also possible that they are the same as used on other Italian 350s, but couldn't say for sure.
I will also look to see if I have any when I get back home.

Simple answer, no.

Valve spacing is very different to the 500, Formula or otherwise.

May as well smelt the 350 head and cast/machine new 500 heads, would be easier than any conversion.

This reminds me of a mate who was restoring a BSA. Needed a piston, as a last resort went to a Repco outlet (Piet will remember them) young bloke at the counter measured it, no sorry.

Old fella that worked there, looked at the piston and over the young blokes shoulder at his measurements and came back with a Grey motor Holden piston. Direct replacement

Yeah Chris,

Repco in Melbourne made/sourced/conjured a piston for my 250 DKW when I siezed it big time! Took nearly 3 months, but hey, for a completely unknown bike of which probably no more than 5 existed in Oz at the time, I wasn't complaining!

Here we go again, looking at pictures of high compression pistons for Laverda 500 from DAM Racing.is most of Dynamics of the tuning accounted from just the pistons.Or is there as I would aspect some machining to the cylinder head.

Pistons, valves, cams, cylinder head, , gearbox.

So when Dinosaurs roamed Australia, Repco was involved in Jack Brabham's 1967 Formula 1 world championship-winning car and engine, there a bit of a joke now compared to then. Just slightly better than its absolutely pathetic auto parts competitors.

Not quite so miserable there Vincenzo. The part of Repco when it was involved in F1 and Jack Brabham basically split off and is now known as ACL, based in Tassie. They are a top manufacturer of engine bearings and... drumroll please... were the only company in the world who could supply Cor Dees with custom made bearings of suitable quality when he was recreating his two Laverda V6's.
