If you are contemplating turning the thread down to a smaller size, (bush back to stock size? or bolt on size reducer) this will require the crank to be removed from the engine and at least the right hand part depressed from the rest, so (IMHO) I would be looking for a replacement part, I doubt that it will be hard to find, or massively expensive, The one on the other end (drive side) is in very shirt supply but at great cost is available, your puller looks like a stainless one, some time ago a well known UK dealer made a batch of these with the thread cut undersize, so that when you install it and attempt a rotor removal, it strips the 42mm thread, again a redilly available (used) part, there are plenty about since the Redax system does not use it.
so in both cases used parts is your friend if you ask me, but you don't have to do that, plenty of others will say the same.
