4 pot Brembo

I am looking to fit 4 pot Brembos on my 78 1200 I already have them on the 78 Jota and it is a no brainer the 4 pots are far superior in stopping power and feel, the old Brembo two pistons are wooden clogs in comparison.
I used GuzziTech hangers for the 4 pots onto the Marzo forks, easy as chips, GuzziTech seem to have disappeared .
My 78 1200 has Cerriani forks and the Jota has Marzo so it is a totally different mount. Does anyone supply hangers for 4 pots onto Cerriani forks?
I did check with Red and he now only does it for big disc brake/wheel conversions, does anyone else supply these hangers?

If they are going onto a pair of Ceriani forks, this is a simple and inexpensive solution:
Get a set of 4 pot Brembos like these, mine came from a 2001 BMW R1200C.
All you need are four alloy (steel would also work) shims 3-6mm (arrowed) and a set of longer fixing bolts to suit.
46% more pad area, much improved feel from an OEM PS15 and significantly greater stopping power.
The whole lot came to less than $250 US, including a new set of Brembo Carbon Ceramic Pads.Four Pots.jpgFour Pot on My Bike Shim position.jpg

Yes, I should go that route, but I already have the 4-pot Brembos (40mm mounting) waiting to go on, I didn't realize the hangers have become hard to find. The BMW Brembos look to be a great solution, with no hanger, and fewer bolts.

I had mine made by a local Ducati Race Engineer, Pete Smith of Epicyles. Sadly not around anymore.

If I remember correctly, on a Ceriani fork, the bolts thread in to the caliper and the caliper is on the inside of the mounting?

On a Marzocchi fork, the caliper threads are in the fork and the caliper is on the outside of the fork mounting?

Now my fading memory, are the calipers the same between the two forks other than one has threads and one does not?

I'm sure Ed at Ducpower.com would make you adapters if he doesn't already have them in stock. Good guy, dealt with him for years.

100 % correct Bruce and yes the calipers are the same apart from the mounting holes, Ceriani threaded Marzo no thread.
Ducati Paddy and DucPower have the hangers but only for Marzo forks, and WeBike Japan has lots of kits but would appear to be for Jap bikes only. I will send an email to Ed at DucPower and Steve at BevelHeaven to see what they can do for me, I am surprised no one does hangers for ceriani forks. The search continues.

Ventured down the same rabbit hole a few years back. The Guzzi conversion does not work with the Ceriani forks and as I was really about conserving the original threaded double bleeder F08s I bought some std unthreaded single bleed F08s and even they needed shimming to align with the rotors. If you find a solution to fitting the 4 pots let me know as they are sitting crying in their packaging, ignored and lonely.

Not hard to make Dave, make a pattern with say 6mm MDF or similar [in my case perspex] to get the holes in the right place, calculate the off set and build onto the MDF to create the the recesses needed. find someone with a milling machine to copy the pattern. only need to do 1 side.

That's so much simpler than mine, mine is your typical triangle but the tricky bit is the changes in thickness on the mount that position the callipers central over the discs. I still use the original 280mm discs. I think the gadget in the pic was reversible so it could be used on bigger discs as well.
