Have you seen how much he’s asking for a headlight on Facebook? If you buy it and you ever come to sell it the price had better be the same as you paid or less.
The last one I sold was 50% more. The market has collapsed.Have you seen how much he’s asking for a headlight on Facebook?![]()
If I buy it, I'm fully aware that in 15 years time, it won't be worth anything I expect. If you buy it and you ever come to sell it the price had better be the same as you paid or less.
2 x 750 Four Honda Kickstarts which have had their shape adjusted and then welded together. If you look at photos of Eglis the kickstarters are various - they don’t work too well with standard Vincent ones. I like them indexed low so my knee is already part ‘open’ at the start of the kick. Some have them so high the rider must be a gymnast to start them. It’s not a Slater Egli. The last one I sold was 50% more. The market has collapsed.
And yes, there's an electronic ignition on that Vincent.
What's that kickstart lever on your Slater Egli?
Paul
I blame journos like Alan Cathcart, who never rode a Ducati he didn’t like. The Darmah was a slow POS that held up our interstate blast to Bathurst for the Easter races. Even Stewie’s GS750 was quicker, used less fuel, and actually handled. When you see old Ducati GT 750s' going for $18+k and Darmah anywhere from $8-20k this SF looks good to me
The higher the price a bike sells for the less likely it is to be used for its intended purpose, so many beautiful machines parked in lobbies or living rooms whose tires will never touch asphalt again'
There is a Ducati 750 GT listed on the Bevel Heaven site the asking price is almost 59,000 Euro, pure madness.

They break down all the time and blow big ends. Usually.
