Most nearly all medical equipment in use today is metric definitely if it was manufactured in the last 20 years. Most US built cars are now Metric definitely if it is of Japanese or European origin. The big 3 auto manufacturers Ford, GM Chrysler are converting to Metric fasteners which at present means some vehicle models are all metric and some are a mix of metric and SAE.

That's legend, Dave! I thought the day would never come. Imperialism just does my head in - but so many engine builders still talk of thou when discussing piston-bore clearance. A bit like many still talk of a person's height in ft and inches.
