750 SFC cast wheel Electronica

Itchy Boots is sponsored by REV IT moto clothing, and the last time she was fitted, what do I see in the Managing Director's Office on display but an SFC. She had no idea what it was. BTW REV IT is a Dutch Company, Manix, do you know the bike? Apparently, it has race history.

That’s my old bike, the Oss 1971 winning 5000 batch SFC. Since I had two of these SFCs in my collection and with the Rev’it headquarters located in Oss I reckoned it would in the right place there.

At least it go to that Canadian fella's collection in Mexico. Or did it?o_O
I reckon that Canadian bloke didn’t have much of a clue about what he was purchasing. Just wanted expensive stuff. Was converting dirty cash. Otherwise he’d have a few SFCs amongst that lot.

Hell,I'm still trying to wrap my head around what the hell a "meme" is. Some new-age word of dubious
validity imposed on society (I mean braindead young people) to update a new version of slang or jargon ?
Perhaps like the Crans Montana tragedy where the kids were documenting the conflagration instead of getting
the hell away from rampant flames and toxic fumes...maybe there's a "Meme" for that. Machiste ??? Ignore.

I could suggest that there is a tenuous 'meme' link between the subject of this thread (think Paul's regular conflagrations) and Crans Montana but it would be in bad taste. 🏃‍♂️

Certainly not an attempt to downplay the tragedy. As a matter of fact I have personally witnessed three deaths at ski
resorts watching skiers uncontrolled hit lift towers killing them instantly. My overriding comment is that people seem
to be incapable of thinking for themselves relying on social media from "influencers" Lately,I have been informed that
many people won't/can't use a telephone because they don't know how to speak to a human being in real time.

Define sensable mods, mine would be The Button. Concentric carbs instead of Monoblocks, maybe. I believe you can get modern damping units that fit inside the struts without being noticeable. Saw a review of that on Jay Leno's Garage.

I wondered how long before the search would begin Paul. Good luck with your Vincent search and I hope you enjoy it while you can.😊 Should be easy to ride for you being lower seat height and the actual engine weight a bit lower in the chassis.

Those are Amal concentrics.
Rims are 19' Akront rather than the 20' steel originals.
Electrics are 12 v with an Alton alternator.
Heads are Shadow.
Clutch is a Japanese unit from Conways.
All the original parts come with the bike.

The button will depend on how I get along with the kick start.
Another useful mod would be a centre stand.

I still need to see the bike, and discuss money. It's low mileage.

Paul
