75th Anniversary July 2024

Yes indidi we do, synchronised watches and all. Sometimes even for 5 minutes or 5 ks, what happens first?
 
Any word on date for this yet?
We are planning coming down from the arctic, bikes on train from Hamburg to Austria or some such probably.
What is the story re accomodation? Seems like not much in Breganze on booking sites. Would be good to line something up in advance close enough by.

I last year for the opening of the museum stayed in this hotel in the center of Breganze, 300 m to the museum and 150m to the central place.

It was fine there.

For meetings they also organize the possibility to camp at the sports ground which is in the center, 2 minutes to the Plaza Guiseppe

There is a camping site on the sports field be the village centre. Dunno who organised it.
 
I think the one in England is in the start of August, Breganze is start of July. For me at least, Breganze is the home of Laverda. The England celebration features lots of the racers and others who put the Jota on the map, and that is predominantly the bike the English associate with the brand.

ILOC, founded in England by an American, Hal Kendall, is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2024.
Seemed to make sense to celebrate both Anniversaries, since they coincide. Very much as well as, not instead of.
No reason why every country, with Laverda motorcycles in it, shouldn't mark the Moto Laverda 75th.
 
In an attempt to clarify the UK activities...

ILOC is using its International Rally early September next year to celebrate the club's 50 years. That's at Baskerville Hall, Clyro on the Welsh borders - a weekend event with Piero, V6, Werner Ricciolini (founder of the Laverda Museum in Breganze) and others as special guests. Hill climb at Shelsley Walsh on Saturday is planned.

The club's Midlands monthly pub meet (1st Sunday in August) will repeat this year's special guests / bikes event . It is essentially a lunchtime bash at a pub in the Cotswolds.

The event in Breganze I know nothing about, other than in previous years it has been held early July.
 
Rode down with the Schurminater to the Dijon moto legends weekend during the 70th anniversary year. The French had arranged trackside entry for all those arriving on Lavs to commemorate the anniversary . Several of the Laverda big cheeses turned up along with the V6. Brilliant weekend that was complimentary to the Main event and in no way in opposition to it.

Easy to be spontaneous when you live around the corner (and retired ;) ). Not so easy when you have to factor in big flights, hire car/ bike, etc.

By the way we visited Werner the other day and he said the rally had been confirmed for first weekend in July and that communications will be coming out soon. He is aware of logistical challenges faced by those coming a long way.
 
so first weekend of July it is then!
but remember these are Italians, I for one will be logging the date, but changes very often happen, hey ho, go with the flow.

… now we have the date for the 75th anniversary in Breganze:
Dear Friends ,
Museo Moto Laverda and Moto Club Laverda Breganze , are happy to announce that the dates for the next year Rally are set on July 5th-6th-7th.
As you know , there will be a special celebration for the Laverda 75th anniversary , and we are heading to organize a larger meeting with different activities in different locations in Breganze.
