Isle of man is 37 and a bit miles
I have more than 250 laps on my log. but never raced there, and with the roads open it is a very different place, I mean you have to go around the roundabout at quarter Bridge on the correct side, and you must enter and exit Bradden Bridge on the road legal side as well, (its a big S for those that don't know) then there are traffic lights that go red, and up on the mountain you shit your pants, because going off the edge of the Veranda, means you will starve to death before you hit the bottom, that one is much the same for road riders as racers as there is no upper speed limit there outside of race fortnight, or during it for that matter, the cops do ruin it with eight million necessary traffic cones at junction however, but the road riders can still get done for dangerous driving. Lastly the race track uses the old road at Governors bridge and its approach, which is not available when the (new) roads are open to normal traffic.
