Plenty of ways around that...

I s'pose I could crash the gate at 98.

But they's a road block up on the clover leaf
And them bears was wall to wall
Yeah, them smokies was thick as bugs on a bumper
They even had a bear in the air
I says, callin' all trucks
This here's the Duck
We about to go a huntin' bear

From the shadows, it looks like the suns out, only 4 went, plus John maybe?. Whats Sasha riding, hard to tell from the pic. First time on The Oxley Carlo, it's a pretty impressive bit of track, er road. Wish I was there, love that road.

Some photos taken by one of the Old Road photographers on the way to the meeting point - Carlo notably going in the opposite direction - that's what comes of arriving without a full tank  :o

Few more than that vince, drank the pub dry!  Turned into a national meeting, 9 from Sydney, 2 from Murwillumbah, 5 from Queensland, 1 from Victoria.  Walcha didn't know what hit it!  Awesome weekend, didn't need the wets, thank god.

Yep, it was a top weekend, great ride up there, specially the Oxley with Maurice out in front, so far I thought we had lost him ::)
but Brett, Stu and I trying our hardest to catch him....Sensational
Great to see so many turn up, and the surprise visit of Maurice on his black Jota and Queenslanders, made it truely memorable.
plenty of issues were discussed at length, but when it came to socks and thongs the NSW and QLD camps were split right down the middle.
Only thing that was settled convincingly was that you cant climb a tree while wearing socks and thongs.... glad we finally put that one to bed.
Speaking of beds, apologies to the Queenslanders, apparently once I find myself in a couch next to a fire it is impossible to get me out of it, sad I know...
Yep top weekend :)
And as Marty said, didn't need the wets
Cheers
Tom
