ANY LAVERDA EXPERTS/GOOD SAMARITANS IN THE UK (BATH AREA)?

Hi, just taken on a 3C with a few issues. The manual I have doesn't even pertain to my triple.
Wondered if there was any Lav buffs in the Somerset/Wilts/Glos area of the UK who'd take a look (for cash)?
Any dealer/specialist who's any good is stacked out with work for months...

Ask for advice on this forum and the ILOC forum. There's a few knowledgeable people about.
It's important to understand that the era of the Laverda professional is drawing to a close, the page has turned so it's DIY from now on apart from a few specialised engineering jobs.

Hi Simon,

I'm in Corsham, so well within your geographical area - but would never agree to being anywhere approaching 'expert', despite having owned Laverdas for 35 years.

What sort of issues are you facing?🤔

same with most marques. UK Ducati bevel guru Tony Brancato has just announced he's retiring. A real end of an era. the Good Guys are all going

I got a workshop manual from Wolfgang many years ago, while it wasn't totally specific to my bike there was an awful lot that was, complete with hand written notes in a language I don't read and grease /oil smudges.
Best to communicate with him as he will suggest the best one for your bike.
I'm very happy with the one he sent me.

If the few issues are something that can be sorted by the Repair and Tune Up Manual ( The Green Book ) , then get hold of one of those ........ Three available on Uk eBay at the moment ..... one at £60 , the other two from Australia and USA , with large postal charges attached .

The Green Book should provide all the info you need ( although some bearing sizes are mis-represented ) ........ and there may be a chance your ignition system will have been changed from the standard by now .... but that`s about all .....

However , if the " few issues " are things like the engine making squeaking or clunking noises , or no noises at all , then that`s another matter entirely .......
