in some local adverts, Laverda had some emotional subtitles like

LAVERDA - real bikes for real men

or similar. Besides the one my son put on a poster he made for me which says

LAVERDA - making mechanics out of riders since 1949!
(which I have to admit is somehow true for me at least, not that I would really call myself a mechanic!)

- which one could you think of as a message that describes best what Laverda means to you or how you would market it maybe today?

common, guys - can be funny, can be overdoing, can be emotional (even if you just broke down with the bike. not that that happens... ;) )

To which my beloved responded "My arse!"

When I used to work in mechanical building services design, it was quite common to see oil-fired boilers (for building heating systems) with Lamborghini fan-forced oil burner units bolted onto the fire box.
Never saw any advertising blurb saying "Lamborghini, the Laverda of oil burners" though.

Jims Orange triple seems to have a competitor lurking;

All of my orange triples (just 2) are 1000 cc ....... but as they say ....... there is no substitute for displacement. Mind you ...... if I combine the output of my orange triples I'm still only at 2000 cc and a maximum power output of approximately 101 HP but alas .... only about 120 Nm of torque. If I put my Formula Mirage in there I'm sure I could get that up to about 140 Nm ....... and HP could be 135+.

Hahahaha I've ridden some oil-burners, but the Lav isn't one of them!
(yet...)
 
in terms of the V6, you could say...:

LAVERDA V6 - a construction that never finished!

on a more positive note:

LAVERDA - so much more than just a motorcycle

or to capture a Volkswagen advert from the 80's:

Just say: "...and my Dad rides a LAVERDA"

how about...:

"LAVERDA: Feel the vibrations, no matter if it's running!
