Fine for them to strut, but what it causes for the rest of us.., like that guy this morning. Business guy, riding around on his bike, just doing his annuals, like the rest of us.. shits me for sure.. >:D

the americans and the brits use computers to know everything about everybody

Well, we may be ignorant, redneck seppos (and yes, that may be a bit redundant), but we do have this thing called the 4th Amendment that prohibits police for yanking over people indiscriminately. Here police must have a reasonable suspicion that a crime (or infraction) was committed, and that you had something to do with it, otherwise they cannot yank you over....at least in theory......so while we may be ignorant seppos, you guys are the ones who are a couple clicks further down the road to becoming a police state.....

Well if someone burgles my house, steals my car or bike, harasses my kids or worse, I won't be calling the fucking Bandidos......

May not be able to yank you over, but they reserve the right to shoot you ::)

in germany they can pull you over just 'cos they feel like it or are bored. in britain, like in the us of a they can't, but they overcome this with the deft citing of anti-terror legislation which allows them to do pretty much anything they like

looks like you met andrew mate-good bloke-had to be there for end of school hols to pick up the multitude of fucking white landcruisers with fucking white campers-if you were local he wouldve waved you through-always stay with the herd mate

Wish the authorities in Cape Town would introduce a law prohibiting more than three goddam cyclists riding in a group!

In the months leading up to the annual cycle race that takes place on the city?s roads (number of participants approaching 40,000), they clog and hog the roads, especially over weekends.    Can?t count the number of times I?ve come round a bend to find both lanes full of cyclists.

It won?t happen, of course, as the race is a source of prestige and revenue for the city.

How far can you get in a day on a push bike?  Get clear of the city and let rip!

In another life I managed 160mile in a day with a few mates but was well and truly fecked but what a buzz. The norm would have been around 70/100 for maybe 4/6 hours riding, now days 25/40 for 2/3hrs  effort on me own.

So as the 'new' police state swings into gear we find today that patch rider groups of 3 or more will be pulled over on sight.. but also "unfortunately yes, some innocent individuals and normal rider groups may be affected, but we know that the Queensland public will understand as we rid our state of these criminals.."  :o Qld Police Minister...

Do you not have human rights legislation in Queensland? Surely that comes under 'freedom of association'?

I'd get the bikie-gang lawyers on the case and see what can be done.

don't know about the rest of you,
but here in Sth Aust the coppers can use the Random breath test to pull anyone over at any time.
Was pulled over in NSW 17years ago for a random breath test, just wanted to defect the car and I had to remind them to do the test, they were not happy about that.
Just having a gun license and registered firearm [all legal], means they can enter you home to check how you secure them.
My understanding is that the anti bikie laws are based on Little Johnny's anti terror laws,
and can apply equally to the local footy club as well.
And I won't go into having a few acres and some live stock, thats a different kettle of fish.
Just seems the more you conform the more info they get and the more privacy you lose.
