Brake pads expert needed

Piet, I tried my best, but perhaps not enough: I do not find any pad from Lucas TRW called "kevlar/ceramic racing". Because I need soon new pads for the P4 callipers with stainless discs for race track use, I like to try them. Could you give me a more direct hint, which one it is? :)
Hi Jens, I can highly recommend EBC FA018HH pads for stainless discs/race use. Ciao, Gert

MCB 540 CRQ is what you need for the 4-pots with a single pin/bolt securing the pads.

TRW sales blurb;

Hi Marty,
can only repeat what I stated in post #5 - when I changed to stainless discs (France Equipment) I combined them with AP Racing LMP106 ST - now 10.000 km in use and very satisfied with them!

Cheers,
Jo

Yes. I did order the wrong ones. Forgot the HH. Latest in braking news, worn out 300 floaters are off the 3C, reverting to 280 solids for the time being, turned the brackets around. These discs stolen from my 81 jota project for the sf2, now stolen again.

Guzzi stainless disc update. Painted the back of the new SBS sintered pads with the Wurth anti squeal paint, and made up some shims, which are fitted to the trailing edge. About 80% fixed. Edges chamfered as well

Fitting new pads to the 4 spot calipers on the 3C. They are off a mid 90's Ducati Monster. Running cast iron floating discs. Options are SBS sintered HS, or Ferodo HF. What do the HS and HF mean? Which ones would be better. The original blue Brembo pads where totally absent in heavy rain, thank god for a good drum on the rear.....

I wish you could find a site with good brake pad reviews. This has been a total lottery for me in the past. My favourite bit is spending money on pads that just don't work when it's raining hard. It's even harder with the now not common Cast Iron Discs. Some of the racing pads need heat so don't work for the first application. Dont know why this is so hard.

Ok in the absence of any opinions, I am going to install the standard SBS sintered HS pads. I will report back, but seeming there is no more rain, ever, when I'm riding.......

Rode 3 hours in torrential rain on those new Brembo carbon ceramic pads (on Brembo stainless discs - off a 996 I think) and there was zero hesitation in retardation when requested.

Rode half an hour in torrential rain on the 750 S. Fingers and toes crossed that I wouldn't have to brake.
I have the Brembo carbon ceramic pads on the SF2 and the 3C. The usual half second nothing happening before they bite.
Sold for 50% more in France by JLO tech than the usual suppliers.

Interesting to have different results. What discs are you using on the SF2 and 3C?
