So - can anyone tell by the engine noise of it has 4C cams? Where is the mark on the can located? Asking for a friend.
But don't be concerned if your cam sprockets aren't secured with cable tiesWhen you have the cam box off, to check valve clearances, it'll be stamped, or not, on the camshaft, Jez.

Although the 4C is slightly "hotter" than the A11, it is, by no means, a "lumpy" cam.I was really referring to the engine on tickover.
If cam timing is right and if they have the correct cam gears for starters.Although the 4C is slightly "hotter" than the A11, it is, by no means, a "lumpy" cam.
So, no, not detectable on tickover.
Simpler just to paint it orange and put Jota badges on it.So just the stamping of 4C on the cams is what makes all the extra power. Next time I do a valve check I am gonna stamp mine with 5C and have even more power than the losers with 4C cams.
Also it would probably be a good idea to use two cable ties instead of one so it is balanced at high rpm's.
I think that`s what`s the difference , not can you tell the difference ........
