EJ and EH, I owned both in 'shaggin wagon' formats, aka PVs. The EJ was first; within a week, I totaled it early on a Sunday morning, with my girlfriend asleep in the back, on Cambridge Street, West Leederville. Took out a light pole and then crashed through the front window of a butcher's shop, ha. Replaced it with the EH that had a larger 161 cubic-inch straight-6. All was good until a newly arrived immigrant ran a stop light and center punched me on Rockeby Rd/Hay St in front of the Regal and patrons waiting to enter.
That was it; I was done with cars. As a wise, experienced 18-year-old, I concluded I would be much safer and happier on 2 wheels. So I took the insurance money and saved up some more $s and bought my first motorbike, a 1973 Suzuki 2-stroke triple. Oh yeah, Dave, 'that's the ticket', good move mate!
I only crashed the GT 550 once, I hit a dog in front of Motoddrob's house, very minor, too bad I can't say the same for the Z1's, soon be in my future.
I also owned 2 Holden FBs, fun times. A bit of a thread hijack, I'll shut up now

I'll say! Green (blue) frame SS. Good lookin' LeMans too, except for the loud gold wheel paint. Better than red I guess.
I couldn't remember what the original wheel colour should be. My Ducati MHR has gold wheels and I thought the Lemon might be the same, so I checked, and you're right. Gold wheels are an affront to rivet counters. My LM1 has original wheels and they're silver. Here it is parked next to a mate's identical model. Mine's the one in the background.

Those are a hoot aren't they? Proper silver wheels. Interestingly both have mirrors left side only. Mine has too, but we drive on the wrong side of the road here! MHR too huh? You have good taste Mr. Dellorto. Alas, this is a Laverda forum..

In addition...many more Ducati 750 SS knock-offs BUT honorable mention to Jotas and MK 1 LeMans. Even lots
of Ducati 750 Sports converted from the GT model. All great motorcycles despite the powder and paint.
Sports converted from GTs are more expensive, a bit like SFCs converted from SFs.
Greed has made a mess of a lot of nice standard bikes.

If you want to satisfy the rivet counters with the wheel finish on an early Le Mans, they need to be painted dull silver... with unpainted rims. On the unpainted rims you'll find a little tiny stamped emblem, a Guzzi eagle if I recall correctly

I have 100,000 miles on my Le Mans, so I ride them too 🤣
