Might have been talking about the Triumph Dolomite, which had an electric overdrive operated by a switch on the top of the gearstick, which somehow only operated in 3rd and 4th, which gave you a bit of a surprise if you forgot when you were fanging dad’s car and chopped it from overdrive 3rd into second coming in to that fast right hander with the big ditch.

A few non-Laverda vehicles seen at the Laverda event in Trabitz, Oberpfalz at the weekend.
BMW 1600-2 has never been restored, all original paint,
no rust and low mileage.
MV and Opel seem to be a nut and bolt resto.
