Cheap Corsa?

A sorry-looking thing that, once you start looking, will need the works. It's my long experience that lots of owners who don't take care of the finish also don't take care of the mechanicals and electrics. Guarantee that Corsa will have some hair-raising wiring bodges.

Someone will be along shortly saying that he'd rather ride than clean, a piece of pure gaslighting if any ever existed.

Fuck me, it’s worth 5 k pound every day of the week, it’s a Corsa, or is it with its red rgs livery shining through, wasn’t there some talk a while ago that there were some corsas that had red paint under the black, probably one of the easiest laverdas to check if it’s a fake

It has the necessary stampings on the engine.

This Corsa is very well known to me, it is the property of a long term friend of mine, and former Jota 120 owner, who has had multiple strokes, two brain tumours, two brain to stomach drains (the first infected and was taken out) and is now bedridden in a care home with very little quality of life, not able to communicate or recognise, but not expected to die prematurely, he is currently 68 years of age. All of this due to Covid 19. The bike was listed by his son, the money will take care of a few weeks of the care home fees. It was withdrawn on my recommendation. I will be selling the bike on his behalf in about a weeks time. The son did not want to bother me with any of it, very caring of him, but I actualy want to help and was feeling powerless. I will asses what needs to be done to enhance the sale, I gather it is a bit lumpy at present (due to lack of use) probably wants the carbs sorting, it is a genuine Corsa that at some time has had some replacement (red) body work painted black, I viewed, inspected and test rode the bike when Paul bought it a good few years ago, I have known it since then, (and personally know the mechanic that has done all maintenance since then) the rear brake master cylinder has been upgraded and actually is the best rear disc that I have ever used on a Laverda triple, It works very well! the front floating discs are gone due to them having worn out the bobbins. the bike has Jota silencers, more info will follow, but expect to see it advertised at a reasonable starting price. Or contact me direct, I am not hard to find especially if you are in the ILOC.

With luck this thread will need a change of title. If ever there was a need to get top market value for a bike it is now and with this bike! Good luck with the sale, it’s for an excellent cause.
