Mate I am in the Whitsundays, I have a bit of trouble with this site, many years ago I brought a 3 cl home from South Africa, then sold it , it just had the seat, and just doing up a 3 cl and going to do the same seat, if you are in Australia we can probably do the coms a bit easer then this way

that bike is real, is Brett's bike, in Sydney, 81 Jota engine, is one of the Serbs we imported when we did the mass 19 Laverda import all from Serbia into QLD
Brett did that paint job himself, pretty cool, he rode that bike to our last race meeting at Morgan Park
Is a very late Series 2 engine, #812*, one of the last 10 x Series 2 engines ever built

I contacted Bruce to see if he needed any help. (Another Lav in the Whitsundays, who would've thought!!)
He has some Internet issues out where he is so causes him some problems.
The seat he is after is a dual seat he believes was a Cico unit and was on the bike he brought back from Sth Africa and onsold some years ago. (He did try and track that bike down but seems it has disappeared)
He sent me attached pic of bike and seat unit he is looking for. He doesn't mind condition as he is prepared to get one made based on an old one.

Definitely worth ringing these blokes, I was surprised they had the moulds of the TT Montegi full fairing designed for Laverda triples I used back in the day. You never know what they might have in the rafters. . From what I have heard, there are at least 2 types of these seats, so be sure you get the type you want. The fairings pop up for sale very occasionally. All these bits are a big step up, desirable but really hard to find. Loathar runs one of these seats as well.

As an aside, I put a Starlink on my trucks roof, fanbloodytastic. At home we had to use our mobile phones on the back deck to get some reception (even though we are 6klm south of Brisbane city ) A Starlink on the roof and problem fixed.

Don’t get me started on why a bloke (Elon) with a few bucks can give us internet and phone reception almost anywhere in Australia, yet our piss poor government can’t give me reception in the middle of a capital city….

Back on topic, to me it looks like Bruce’s red seat had been doctored into a two seater.

No worries. Spoke with Bruce today and passed on some info and have PM'd Enrico asking for Riccardo Oro email which I will pass on with business card/fax number kindly supplied and have discussed English language issue etc.
Also I will take a ride up and meet Bruce when repairs to his road are finished (involves over 20kms dirt which has graders on it at the moment) and see if I can help with Forum access (and have a squizz at his bike) as something doesn't sound quite right. (Not that I know anything)
Hopefully we can get him some options for the seat he desires................
