Clem - Rest in Peace

This is such an unexpected shock. I regret to say that I never had the pleasure of meeting Clem and yet I felt that I knew him just a little from the exchanges we had on the ILOC Forum. He was woven into the very fabric of ILOC and to realize that we will not see him posting anymore is just one small thing that brings home the sadness of his passing. No more stories from him of TOG and together with his passing, it marks the end of an era. My condolences to his family and friends and all in ILOC and Laverda Forum who knew him well. A very sad day

Oh no. That is truly dreadful news.

Clem was a wonderful person to know and his passing leaves a big bear-shaped hole in this world. Laverda-world or otherwise.

A lot of you will be hurting greatly at the loss of a dear personal friend and I send my best wishes and condolences to you.

RIP you dear, sweet man. You gave me kindness in abundance and I enjoyed every moment we spent together. Haggis

Oh this is not news any of us like to wake up to. Condolences to Clem´s family and closest. Like many here that never met him in person feel him as a friend. He had a great sense of self effacing humour to go with his deep knowledge of all things Laverda, both mechanical and among the community, and always jumping in offering help to anyone he could. Rest in peace big fella, going to miss you.

Clem was a top man. We were chatting cylinder heads over a coffee earlier this year in my kitchen.
He had driven up from Kent to buy some TS bodywork and was in fine form.
A real gentleman with lots of good memories of him, here and in Breganze.

RIP Clem, you'll be missed.

Bon vent Clem.

He was a regular at home, his sister and his recently departed mum lived just up the road on the coast.
He was a regular at our Amicale 750 Laverda meetings.
Always out on his trusty 1200 Laverda, TOG, The Old Girl, even when that involved planning a dialysis every three days through various European countries.
