I tried eating a snake once (a real one, not the sugary jelly ones). It tasted a bit like pork, but it was as tough as an old leather boot. Probably should have hammered the crap out of it before frying it up. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're starving.
 
They are constantly eating Snakes on that Naked and Afraid show on TV, apparently, they taste pretty good if you haven't eaten anything in 10 days or more. The shocking thing I see on that show is these idiots being eaten alive by millions of Moscetos, you can get server long-term diseases for, months or years to recover from just one bit.
 
Naked and Afraid eh Vince? I've never heard of that show. Sounds like another crap "reality" show like Survivor or I'm a Celebrity ...
They should just call the show "I'm a stupid cunt for volunteering for this shit" :)
 
It's pretty serious, a male and a female naked with your choice of one gadget, either flint or a machete and you get dropped in some serious bush anywhere in the world and left for 21 days. Usually, they starve for most of it. Finding pottable water when it's over 40c is a huge problem as well. But like I said the Insects are nuts, Malaria, Dengi Fever, and lots more are very possible. It's mentioned but there is a 3 man film crew there as well. I once did a 10-day trek and camp in The Blue Mountains and it's very easy to get sick doing this stuff. Just a bit tougher than a 2 day Laverda ride
 
Great weekend on 2 wheels,left the Jota at home and took the V twin Aprilia,first time on a long trip,to see if we bond.We sure did,love all that torque,what a brilliant bike,surprisingly comfortable for a sports bike,almost 1300kms in 2 days and no unusual aches and pains.
Best Road- The road leading into Adaminaby
Best fuel- Adaminaby
Best water - Adaminaby
Best snakes- Adaminaby
Worst road- road leading out of Adaminaby.
She was special..
 
What a great weekend, perfect weather for those leaving from Heathcote, not enough rain to put on the wets, dried out 5 mins after it started.
In defence of Kermit, it does have a genuine RGS key part fitted, in fact the bike would be un rideable without it. that's why it's so quick.
Best road-Talbingo without a doubt.
By passed the doom by turning off for Picton and going over Razorback, didn't fancy lane splitting all the way into Sydney.
 
Didn’t get a chance to line the bikes up in front of the pub. Here is the picture theatre in Bombala

Does anyone remember the name of that road that follows a river, and there is a sudden left turn over a small bridge. A few of us oversailed it again and had to turn around. I think it's heading to Gundagai. This road starts with a left turn into it and is quickly followed by a flush of very bumpy bends down into a valley. I am keen to know where it starts and ends? We have done it lots of times over the years.
