Sounds like quite a bit more damage than I sustained, Chris, and the quote to Shannons (awaiting approval) is frankly scary!

Is it a wire wheel, Chris? Neway wheel repairs in Heidelberg work wonders on damaged wheels.

The problem I have down here is that I don't have anyone to ride with and not a lot of roads to ride. Not interested in riding the main road so that leaves me my test track out the back. Return ride to Peaceful Bay and back is about 100 clicks. No cops so can be fast as your game. Most of my riding is forestry tracks on my old GS1000BM.
Now that is always fun. Can ride 100s kms and not see another vehicle.

Similar situation here Rob, but I love riding by myself anyway and always trying to find somewhere new to ride with limited roads around here.............
(There is a group of sports bike riders I see fairly often, but not interested in riding with 'em.............................)
