Club Laverda NSW change of plans. We are unable to fit in at Dalgety, which is already booked for the 26/2. Instead we are staying at the Federal Hotel at Nimitibel. We already have 21 starters, so looking at a great weekend. Let me know asap if you want to come along.
Cheers
Marty

What a top run that was,
Sure it was a bit damp in places
and there were an unusual amount of casualties...
But a good time was had, some great roads, those snowy roads are just golden, and a shed full of laughs were had as we warmed ourselves by the fires in the Nimmitabel Hotel,
Stu was the first casualty with a flat tyre in the pouring rain before he even made it to the Beijing slip Rd,
Next was Brent with his crank trying to make a getaway through the primary cover,
Then my left side jota pipe decided to part company with the collector.
Brett lost an indicator, no surprises there
before losing his charge due to his chinese made regulator...
And finally poor Pete having his chain give up the ghost on the Hume 2 hrs from home...

The wait time for food at the pub was record breaking, topped out at 3 hrs for the frozen mash and peas with a piece of unrecognisable meat on the side.

Great to catch up the Canberra and surrounding suburbs mob, who were nearly all there at the end of the night to see in the new day.

There was also a sad incident of attempted boot thievery, which was eventually sorted out, but not before a whole heap of nasturtiums were cast about.

Good also to see Carlo's mate Dave aka Dave the boot the thief make the effort (y) (y)

Carlo was apparently too busy staying warm to make it, very sad indeed, you were missed Carlo.

Top weekend guys,
Cheers.
