I had forgotten how much fun ripping around on a Laverda is, just a magic day. The weather was crisp and clear, we all passed the one and only cop early on, I noticed he was going really slow as I passed him, something to do with someone doing an overtake he didn't like, we had no interaction, zero breeze, great visibility not including blind bends, the bike was running really well including the fork changes, not much traffic going, some slow coaches heading back but even that didn't piss me off much. Managed to dodge some wheel braking-sized potholes, more luck than good management, Great egg and bacon rolls, friendly staff, some random couple gave us plenty of Carlos gossip from his big night out. I noticed it said on one of those big RTA signs accident at Cowan, I then arrived at the PITS hill and stated up only to discover 3 highway patrol cars and the RTA serious crash truck and a big crowd of riders, I was thinking RBT as they do that on occasion, NOPE it was a big bike accident, I have no other info. I then tried to buy some pies at Pie in the Sky but the Que was massive and it was Chok a bloc so I went home. Just a great day out on the bike. More like that, please.
