Cool Videos

I have seen that Beefeater in full swing at the Tower of London this summer. Boy did he rip the visitors to bits. I actually felt sorry for the Americans some of whom did not know how to take him. The Tower is well worth a visit and if you see this chap in action you will laugh your head off. No pun intended.

What do you do with your spare time when you are a 9 time world champion?

What else but build a big dirt track and invite all your moto-mates along to ride it for the day.

they're elite athlete's. no booze on a school night.

...I thought at least Chad Reed would have brought the esky with him for sure.

When school is out they're just like the rest of us. For example many years ago about a mile from the track in Suzuka Japan there was an old Karioki bar that we called Mam-Sans. No idea what its real name was but it was small and a real dive. On the bar counter were several photo albums of various drunken misfits. Two of the most prominent were Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Gardner and they were not a pretty sight  :o. The IRTA end of the year party in 1995 bombed because they only offered alcohol free beer to drink. Most of the riders grabbed their teams and went looking for booze instead. IRTA learned their lesson and now the party after the Valencia races goes on into the early hours  (cheers).

Blimey Yogi, that must be the longest hyperlink I've ever seen. It would be impressive if it actually worked  :D

Yes, took me until now to find another source for the video - I've replaced it with a YouTube link instead. Impressive driving under the conditions...

I have to doff my metorphorical hat to the technology and dedication of the Y2K Turbine bike.
I just wish there was less 'chit chat' and silly music so I can listen to the bike and watch a full run.
