Using the big ends to restrain the crank against that type of tightening would not be advisable on any roller bearing bigend motor. Very few people have access to the tool shown that holds the oil pump drive gear, so a rattle gun is the easiest option.Dellortoman said:It would if you put a block of wood under it.
