Dellorto PHB 36

My teachers used to stub cigarettes out on us, no wait, that was a dream I once had.The 4 ft long 15mm thick cane was used up until a couple of years after I left high school in 1974,It did similar damage as slaming your fingers in a door just crazy to think this did any good in the long run.Like to try it on them these days and see the effect. Some sick puppys where teachers back then.

Ah, we baby boomers had it so damned good! Imagine today's young having to put up with this shit - and the outcry from their parents ... and the law suits to boot!

"but what is does teach you is respect"  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam, you must be having a laugh, respect is never taught, it is only ever earned, those nasty weirdo cranks that beat kids in schools don't get any, they don't deserve it, the memorable thing to me is that their pupils didn't get good results in the subjects taught by them.

CLEM

Modern Mikuni 32/34/36 and 38's will work and probable better at 1/2 the price of old beaten up Dellorto's and Amal's.

You will have to do some cable and mounting management but it's well worth it ;o)

I'm Canadian and watch 60 minutes of Australia sometimes; WTF do I know !

750 SFC is probably the most rivet counted of the family. If I had one even back in the day I would have altered it to make it rideable for my normal body shape and kept the original bits stored to later rivet back into place. My mate did that with his Sport Duc back then, to the usual chorus of shock horror. Fitting Mikunis might be a step too far but it might be a long wait to find non pump Dells if the bike was wanting to be ridden.
