Dellorto PHF rebuild

Be careful with the chemicals in the ultrasonic as some are very detrimental to the alloy of the carbs- use one that is specifically safe for aluminium parts, for example NOT Simple GREEN though SimpleGreen purple formula is good. Don't assume it'll clear blocked passages without some help from air blast or carb cleaner spray tube.

The tight Orings will benefit from tiny amount of silicone grease warmed in your hands.
You beat me to it-I use dielectric grease as well for O-ring assembly.

I agree, with mine I have gradually replaced all the brassware and new needles, amazing what you find along the way (broken accelerator pump jet) and the subtle differences these changes make 👍

You can get carburretor-specific concentrate for ultrasonic cleaners, and red rubber grease to lubricate 'O'-rings, at least in the UK. I've also found that an ultasonic cleaner won't guarantee clear primary circuits, but it's best to treat them to a soaking of carb cleaner followed by compressed air.
