The chroming/corrsoion put me off getting this SF2 for next to nothing, all there but in horrendous condition. Inside the engine was immaculate, no corrosion at all. It had been parked up because a primary chain swap hadn't tightened the sprocket nut enough and the spline had massive freeplay with the "it must be fucked" noise. I cleaned out the carbs and it fired straight up after over 20 years in a wet barn. You need time, contacts (network), space, and money to take on these jobs.
