eBay USA find - less than pristine 3C

1976 Laverda 1000 3C motorcycle parts bike | eBay

1976 Laverda 3C. I do know that individually, the Laverda 1000 parts are worth a considerable amount of money. Sold as a parts bike. Not sure what this is worth as is, and as a rolling bike. So before I start dismantling the bike, wanted to see what interest there is.

No the one in NY, he got $1500 for it, I would have paid that for sure, I'm sure we'll be seeing parts for sale soon, as that would be the only way to make money on it

I made an offer of $1k , but he sold it a week prior,

I reached out to the seller through eBay when it was listed. One set of three or four simple questions like was the crank free, any crash damage, did he have a clear title in his name. I was prepared to drive the 300 miles to look at it with a trailer and much more cash than he accepted. He was so unfriendly that I gave up immediately. Life is too short to restore a bike with a bad backstory. Two days later someone on the Guzzi forum offered me the ‘77 Jota project for a very fair price.
