So I now own a Laverda Alpino S. Had Carbs refurbed, and waiting on return of tank as needed a respray. Struggling to find a different set of silencers to fit. Have ordered Armours Ltd, as made to order. Is there anything else out there I've missed?

Hello,
Did you finally get your Armour silencers and in this case are you satisfied with them?

These are the mufflers I replaced. Not sure what they are off of originally - they have Laverda part numbers - but they sounded OK without being overly loud.
Hi Rob. Could you tell us how are the internal of your SF2/3 Contis.
Because there are no copies of 500 silencers but there are copies of SF2/3 silencers.
The 500 silencer is made (from the entrance) of a 670 mm plain straight 40 mm diameter pipe. After that, there are reflection baffles for the last 200 mm. Are your Contis with a principle of reflection or absorption?
Last question : on the 500 silencers, there is a recess at the wheel side for the wheel axle. Is it the same for the SF2/3 silencer ?
Thank's.

I finally went for Mistral "universal" silencers. Very nice contact with them.
They let me specify everything around their "small cone" (diameter and lenght of entrance, angle of silencer)
I had only the brackets to do.
For the look, everyone sees if he like or not. I wanted to keep about the original length for the engine (without being sure it's important ...) ;)
